You might try again. It works from here. You do need to register at xda in order to download the file since they host it. I haven't seen it downloadable elsewhere.

Try using an SMB share and see if you can see/play the mkv there. It's likely that the media server doesn't show the mkv. I know my WHS box will not show mkv's when I access via upnp but they're there and play via SMB.
