One thing I did do, as it seemed to have disappeared when I did the reformat, was to manually readd Appslib. I did it via the stock 101 browser as I didn't have Dolphin reloaded as yet. Once it was installed I still couldn't find Aldiko, but I went into 'apps', found Appslib, stopped it and cleared ...

Was weird - I went into the 'installed apps' section, and there it was, listed as 'Aldiko 2'. I opened it to put on the home screen. Came with a Jack London book, and when I opened it to read I could now see the entire page without fluffing with settings. Much nicer and tidier than the original. Wis...

So i formatted my 101 and put on the newest firmware thinking it would newest simple toreplace the stock apps. Not soe simple. Short question - where can it find aldiko using appslib? 'Name Not found' using all It gives.

and now its there. And seems much nicer. Stock least books fit.

Slivyr - Mine had a delivery date from Canada Post for 14 Dec, and it was delivered today (Calgary) - 4 hours later CP changed status to 'delivered on 14 Dec' (I did say it showed up today, 17 Dec, right?) So I had one from Amazon in my shopping cart but figured that the Archos.ca one is bound to make it in time - judging by the emails I've received so far. There is a 16g 101 back on Amazon.com, listed as instock as of right now. The list price is <cough> $479.

re USB drives - we had USB 3G devices for laptops at work, and they were a nuisance sticking out the side. The quickie solution was to use a short USB dongle and a bit of velcro - attach the USB device to the backside with the velcro and run the cable to the port - out of the way and still connected...

Thanks for the feedback guys. Wes_s - do you have any problems with visibility and blind spots with that on the dash? Thats one of the reasons I was looking at a coffee cup mount over a windshield mount.
