Archos 70 8 gig using 2.1. Brightness at 25%, wifi always on, gaming, web, downloading and installing proggies from appslib and the market. Average battery use is 10% per hour.

Also, sd card doesnt necessarily refer to an external one, so don't let that confuse you (as it did me). Just let Adliko run the scan and it will put the ebooks\import folder on your device.

Try hitting the scan button in Adilko first, then check for it the files area.

Aldiko currently reads ebooks with an .epub file extension. There may be more, however, I'm new to this as well. I know when the new update is released it will be able to read several formats. Anyway, you'll need to put your .epub files in the \ebooks\import folder. Then, open Aldiko and click on ...

That's where I and some others bought theirs, and they do ship out the same day if that's what's posted. With no surprise, they do sell out fast! If you're going to order one, call them. Ask if they will price match Archos. They have for many of us.
