I use Widgetsoid and it does most of what these aps do, and more. It is highly customizable.

The warranty covers defective materials and poor workmanship. It does not cover accidental damage or negligence.
Due to the fact that your screen was broken as a result of a drop, it is likely considered accidental damage, or user negligence, and consequently is not likely covered.

My unit has over 6 gig left over. You also always have the option of adding a micro SD card.

Widgetsoid is another great app for squeezing extra icons on your screen. I use it to fit 10 apps into a 8x1 widget.

Hopefully we'll also see the next gen from Archos in 2011 as well. Then I can give my wife the 101 and upgrade.
Of course I could "upgrade" to another brand as well, but they will inevitably be over priced.

The only relevant dates for me are the ones on which I have something scheduled, and the Android Agenda Widget displays those nicely. You can make that widget scrollable and as big as you like with LP, ADW and Zeam. The bigger it gets, the more information it displays.
