@Jamie - Uruk 1.0 had the default archos soft buttons upon install for me. Then you can select in Uruk options to move them to the large status bar buttons if you want. Sounds like something went fishy in your up/downgrading.

If you root your device using UrukDroid 0.7 or similar method,
you can repartition the drive making more space for apps.
(you will lose a bit of storage space for music etc).

I have 1GB for apps now.

This method is very good but not easy for novice.

If you use apps2sd, even without an sd card ...

I had paid $50 for external keyboard case (exclude shipping fee) but ARCHOS 101 not have Thai language for external keyboard layout.

At this time I've love my Archos 101 so much. The only thing that I wish is Thai language for external keyboard layout.

I think it would be great if there was an app that allowed you to read and send SMS via Bluetooth on phone especially if it could also make the archos act like a Bluetooth headset to make and revive calls.

I could do the SMS thing on win ce lots of years ago so hope something will pop up in market ...
