My Archos 70 scores a 1030 in Quadrant with 2.2 @ 1GHz. Hopefully the JIT compiler will be improved in later releases.

Unfortunately, formatting the External SD as EXT3 doesn't work.

You can do it for free pretty easily. DVD Decrypter then Handbrake, H.264 would probably be best.

According to Google there are no minimum requirements to upgrade to 2.3 or 3.0, only recommendations. I think there is a chance that we may see Gingerbread, but Honeycomb may be a bit of a stretch.

im not talking about ultrahigh quality rips but general ones the "standard" for bluray rips are about 4.3gb much like 700mb is the norm for sd rips. More so if longer film . LCD Density Changer works, you just have to use the preview/temp change. I find 114 works well.
