Has anyone tried skype on the new froyo firmware, I am holding on for a cooked rom or for the bugs in froyo to be fixed before Installing, I need ac3 and mkv support on my device so not upgrading just yet.

Yep that the best way to do it. Once you disconnect the USb, the device will automatically detect the update file...

Can someone please check the app space available for Installation? is it the whole disk space of the miserable 200MB?

Just saying.... while playing movies files either avi or HD MKV files and I touch the screen either to pause or exit the archos media player and the device hangs and after touching the screen again after about a meeting the, force close box comes up and it goes on and on...
