I just googled z4root and looked around for an apk. it's easy and it works

Wow, these are really expensive. But even after careful use I still have a couple major scratches, so I need one of these.

I'm confused... Is Archos only advertising the POTENTIAL of 1ghz or is the device auto clocked at 1gz without rooting and using set cpu? And has anyone tried clocking more than 1hz?
