An Idea for Generation 10 Stylus/Digitizer Support
I haven't posted in a while but I am interested in what G10 offers. A simple feature addition for G10 a pressure sensitive active digitizer ala Wacom or N-Trig. I bought an HTC Flyer for this reason and I am considering a Galaxy note 10.1 for this reason. I know Wacom offers tech that could fit in a ...

Archos should make low cost Android smartphones along with making tablets because there are so many options for low cost tablets and because many people just don't want tablets.
Yup Archos can release an MT6575 Single-core ARM Cortex-A9 ICS based 4.3" qHD phone for $149 and 5" qHD for $169 ...

Archos Generation 10 Speculations post some of your own
While many of us enjoy our existing devices and the reception of Archos G9 has been generally positive, it is always fun to speculate about what the future holds. So here are some things that I think well be in Archos Generation 9.
The obvious: a newer version of Android and a faster processor.

Re: HTC Flyer And Jetstream
Hey guys I finally ordered an HTC Flyer. I waited a year to buy one, now I wait two weeks for it to arrive in the mail. I also ordered the HTC Scribe pen and a navitech case with pen holder. So I will tell you guys what I think of when I receive it in the mail. I guess there is a reason why people ...

I wonder how is GPS I haven't seen any review testing that out. It seems like that the pen price drop is permanent.

Re: HTC Flyer And Jetstream
Yeah, I agree with your thinking--but I don't understand the purpose of the front 1.3 MP camera in the first place if Gingerbread 2.3 does not permit Google Talk to video chat. Are there alternatives until the Honeycomb update? (I think Skype may work, but most of my friends are on gmail.)

Re: HTC Flyer And Jetstream
@ rushmore, I know this is a bit off topic in an Archos forum, but I, too, considered the Archos but instead bought an HTC Flyer from BB due to the $200 price drop. How would HTC roll out Honeycomb to prior purchasers of the Flyer? I've only seen on air updates from cell phone manufacturers over 3G ...

Re: Archos G9 Alternative?
The HTC Flyer 300 dollars is great. Dual cameras, GPS, Bluetooth, USB host, microsd, plays most 720p vids just fine, Active digitizer for drawing/ note taking, and honeycomb coming soon. Also the Arnova Tabs, Kindle Fire, and Nook Color if your looking for something really cheap. Also Haipad M9 with ...

Re: HTC Flyer And Jetstream
Hey guys starting tomorrow HTC and bestbuy are lowering the price of the HTC Flyer. It will be lowered from 500 to 300 dollars and at that price you could do much worse. Be picking one up soon I'll tell you guys what I think of it.

Re: HTC Flyer And Jetstream
Also as discovered by the XDA-Devs folks, that the device will receive full USB host functionality (with an a cheap adapter of course) so one less reason to use an Archos tab and it already supports all the codecs of an Archos tab at 720p high profile plus 720p browser playback. Anyways the device ...

Re: HTC Flyer And Jetstream
I have the HTC View the sprint version of the Flyer, and it is a top notch device in terms of performance and build quality. You can output video with an MHL adapter. The pen is a little overated because of the limited functionality, but the Flyer now has a honeycomb 3.2 port that allows the pen to ...

HTC Flyer And Jetstream
While the HTC Tablets are pretty pricey they seem like my cup of tea. The design and build quality are top notch. The main thing that really attracts me to the HTC tablet is the pen feature which allows the devices to be more than media consumption devices and the beautiful Sense UI. Anyways I might ...
