I had this as well. I just held down the power button for 10seconds until it shut down, then reboot. (Keep it plugged in.) Update was fine on my end. It's a holdover from a windows user, when in doubt, reboot.

Seems to be working for me as well. Titanium managed to access root and do it's backup. Now to play with some of the bloatware...

I'm not sure what to tell you but I've been using ES File Explorer since day one and streaming video works fine on it. Of course, I'm doing it via SMB mode not the media player so perhaps that's the dicotomy there. Are you using SMB with this problem?

No, you need a capacitive stylus to work. Look for something that works on those or something recommended for an apple IPad as they are often labled such and will work. Targus is a good brand, I have one already and it's well made.
