Re: Emulators disappearing

you should be able to put your ROM anywhere on your device. The emulator should ask you where you put your games.

Re: Selling Archos 101

I'm going with the Asus Eee pad transformer.
As far as I know, its the cheapest honeycomb tablet, and the screen is just as nice as the ipad's.

Re: Netflix App

Anyone have a back of the mind fear the no device check may go away in the future as Netflix updates their app? I know we wouldn't have to update ours, but it would be easy for them to check and see which version we are running. I guess it just depends on if Netflix really does want to limit the de...

Re: Boot Loop when screen goes to sleep mode

You get a boot loop every time?
Mine has done that occasionally, but not that bad.

Try turning on airplane mode when you're not using it. Not the best solution for an internet tablet, I know, but worth a try.

I downloaded a handy widget called Elixer to quickly toggle it (among many other things)

Re: Whats up with the reboots?

I read in the bugs thread that enabling airplane mode helps with the reboot loops.

I really hope they sort that out in the next firmware. My 101 never used to do that.

Re: new firmware 2.3.26 - report bugs here

People affected by reboot loops should check that "Use wireless networks" option is checked in "Parameters/Localization and security". Checking this option should solve the issue. Plane mode also prevent the bug to happen. Wi-Fi disabling does not. I'm getting the reboot loops, but that box is alre...

Re: new firmware 2.3.26 - report bugs here

had a really bad bug yesterday. I usually leave my A101 asleep while I'm at work. I went to turned it on, on my way home, and it didn't turn on. When I got home and plugged it in, I found that the battery was completely dead. I don't know what it was doing all day to drain the battery. Perhaps it wa...

File syncing app

I found a neat little app for file sync between your computer and multiple android devices. You specify a shared folder on your computer, and it will automatically sync at specified times, or as soon as the wifi is detected. Re: Market Fix No Longer Working?

yeah, the market fix didn't work for me today.

I bought Swiftkey a while back. I did a reinstalled recently, and I wanted to re-download it, but its a hidden app now. I couldn't download my purchase.

I bought thumb keyboard instead, which seems pretty good too.

I did an android reset last week, and it was running okay until today when my 101 rebooted itself. It wasn't a reboot loop. Once it booted, it was fine.
