I wished the device will be more open, I was thinking of installing ubuntu on the device mainly because of language support concerns. I know that even android 2.2 doesn't support arabic, for example, natively and I need this feature.

any ideas?

I'm thinking of buying the archos 101 and I have one question, will I be able to install some linux distributions on the device and how hard is the process of doing so?
ubuntu 10.10 will support multi-touch so I think the archos 101 will be so great with it ...
