I had an Archos 7 HT and now have an A70IT. It may me just my imagination, but I'm sure the wallpaper scrolled further on the HT, (I mean any central image would scroll further left or right).

Also, I think the 7HT had more icons on the screen, 6x5 not 5x5.

Does anyone know if any of that can be ...

It is very inconvenience to temporary rooted and Setcpu to 1GHz??

Thanks for the response. I first posted this on the A70 board, and then thought I might get a quicker response on the Gen 8 board. In the future I will be sure to limit to my questions or comments to one board.

Got my A70 yesterday. Upgraded to Froyo. Wifi works fine and overall not having any significant problems. Got the market installed and loaded up all my apps. So far so good.

The problem seems to be only the channel setted on the wifi network. Maybe is a bug of Froyo, but it works if you set the first or the second channel. I did not try the others.

by changing the data encryption from "wep" to "wpa psk" solved. the network appeared and can connect ...

I go and stay with many hotspots, nothing happen. Wifi run well, sometime it can't connect at first time but i just disable wifi and enable again, it connected.

My case is HANGUP, when run some app, game like NFS Shift or just install 2 or 3 app same time or delete file.... A70 Hangup, can't do ...

I can be sure about this: my A70 has a wifi bug caused by Froyo.
Before the update I was connected to my wifi with no problem.
After the update I can see up to other 4 wifi networks in the area but I cannot see mine at all (my iphone see it well).
I tried at home and it works.
