You should notice though, that the rooted nook color is not intended for music and video, just as an iPad is not primarily meant for those things, it's for ereading, apps and the web.

you see, there is one problem: The nook has a future.
XDA has grabbed hold of and is in full swing on a custom rom, they have almost never done anything with archos, and those who know android know xda as the maker of custom roms, that is where you go.
They even have a market hack, plus the nook ...
