Archos 5 it and BB Bold

Hi guys :) I am proud owner of an archos 5 it and an blackberry bold 9000. There both pretty useful gadgets.And I would like to combine both. So I read about the abilitys of them and figured out that, the blackberry doesnt implement a many functions of the archos, so I am trying to get it implement....

Hey guys,

maybe you heard of the Linaro-project which tries to implement a ubuntu(?) version on arm gadgets?

I just gonna ask if the downloads supported there would be able to be used in archos and if it is a usable firmware in case?

I had installed it today.

I think they changed it a bit now,
so if you do it right Angstrom should be there ,too.

Ok thx so far.
I tried the whole progress from the morning once more but didnt work!

So now I will try it your way.
The first problem is what about the third file (prepared) it just not seems to open?
Do I have to build it and if how do I?

You're welcome. So, you copy the FW file to the Archos, and tell it when you're done. Does it look like it's installing the FW? Does it go to a progress bar...? Michael Nothing at all. hmm. shit. got the same problem.

tried the 1.7.99 version with the update firmware and the repair disk mode.
Also tried the 1.7.96.

So I think there is a problem if i dont charge it right away?
