Are you guys using the 2nd beta version? I used to have exactly the same problem as described with the 1st beta version but the 2nd beta works great. Just be sure to put it in fullscreen mode. Good luck!

The latest version is working great on my Archos. Stupid question though - how do you exit it without shutting down? The only way I've found is deliverately crashing it by clicking one of the web links!

Apparently will work on 1.6 devices...so I tried it on my 5IT...and got a forced close :-(

Anyone else tried it? My Archos isn't on the newest firmware but the one before.

Hi giolubia I have a 16gb flash version and usually play my movies straight from the micro sd card. With varying resolutuons and codecs played I usually get comfortably 5-6 hours of video played before the battery dies. Seems to suggest the hard disk does have an impact. Thanks for all your tips. I'm going to charge mine while its off from now on and see if that helps. I've also ordered an Archos cable off Ebay for just over a fiver that plugs straight into the bottom 'dock' port to see if that improves my charging experience!
