Ebay's Luzern Tech usa lists their refurbed archos items' location as Illinois. Is that where returns must be sent for warranty service? Has anyone had good/bad experiences w/ them?

I've just updated the firmware to the latest but before I did that there was nothing shown in the "all by date" folder. After the firmware update it ran an "updating ARCLibrary" process and it now does that every time I add new files.
