it should because nautilus gives you the permissions to copy it over.. when you entered the command that has the word nautilus in it did it bring a window up?

in all actuality, its pretty easy... just follow the steps.. if you dont know what something is, google it... it'll take a lot less time than the 5 days you've been having trouble with it.. and once you get to 1.6.54 (what i'm on and been working perfectly) it should be fine.. i'd suggest installing...

yeah it does... its part of the GF hack... there's a new hack released by someone.. its the gf hack but for 1.7.11, but i'm not too sure on if it actually works or not...

archos 5 IMT uses flash 9 mobile, where as the newest verison of flash is 10, and there isnt any mobile version of it that i know of.. but i'm no expert...

the archos 5 IMT and archos 5 IT are 2 completely different things... one comes with android (IT) and one comes with an archos firmware (IMT)... the IMT does not have multitouch compatibility, not too sure about the IT though as i own the IMT version.. that video is with the archos 5 IT with android...

yeah, i'd like to know what all the debug menu options are too... possibly something worth while? its there because of the GF hack if you didnt know.. and about the screwed up icons, i tried using the GF hack on 1.7.11 and it did the same thing to me.. the reason is because its meant to be used on 1...

Dude, this happens with pretty much everything i plug into my computer... laptop and desktop.. SD cards, SDHC, Archos 5, PSP, you name it, i get the error... i've never done it though, but i think you can just delete them.. i'd get a second opinion before you do though.. just in case..
