Nice, but was hoping for a different kind of upgrade

Yeah, I just got the battery dock, and, it's really nice - especially if you want to play films through hotel TV's, that have video input on the front (and many do now).

I just wish it was a micro USB charger input, so I wouldn't have to carry yet another power adaptor around.

I believe that's in Settings -Data synchronization. If that doesn't do the trick check in Settings Multimedia Libraries. There are options for automatically updating the media libraries there. Yeah, and they are all unchecked, yet it still happens. Isn't there a way to get into the startup app fold...

Is there any way to disable that? It takes up too much time (5-8 minutes) and battery power. Only has happened since the Donut upgrade ...

I just bought an Archos 5 Android 500 MB, and, even on this device, I can't seem to get more than 35,745 songs on the ARCLibrary update. I've tried several times to rescen. OK, I see what it is - I had set up, in the Archos, for the Mac connection, the USB connection to be USB Net - I need ot change it back for the Windows connection to Mass storage ....
