There's a simple way to fix the issue :

- connect the 3G key with the usb-host cable.
It works !

Do you know how to take screenshots ?
With ICS it's supposed to be ON+Vol but it doesn't work.
Do you think this native function had been removed ?

The tablet freezes sometimes on Google Play Store.
It's totally frozen (the tablet is unable to react) and I have to hard reboot.

The answer is not enough. He doesn't say why Archos doesn't avoid the HC installation on a Froyo tablet.
The reality is : you can install the firmware HC on froyo but the tablet is imediatly and definitely killed.

If you don't want to buy a case but think a stand is usefull.

Acoording what I read and undestood:
If you buy au 7oIT, you receive a HC 7ob IT tablet. These tablet has just been release (Jbmm has received its one from Archos last Friday). Almost no one has this tablet.
If you buy a 7o IT, some have received a Froyo 7ob IT tablet insted of a 7o ...

You're wrong.
7ob IT froyo and 7ob IT HC are different.
Try to install a HC frimware on the froyo tablet and you will brick it.

What I guess : Archos had built several 70b IT devices when Google has refused the agreement.
Then, they had to modify the devices so Google gave the agreement and Archos now begins to produce them with Android 3.2.
The early devices are sold as 7o IT with Android 2.2 and AppsLib instead destroy ...

Your tablet is the Andoid 3.2 Honeycomb tablet, considered by Archos as a Gen 9.

Do not try to install the firmware 3.2.77 (Honeycomb - Android 3.2) on a 7ob IT with Android 2.2 Froyo !!!
