Is it still in hard drive mode?
Try fully turning it off, then on,
if that doesn't work:
Reset the user settings (repair and formatting)
Try the options in repair and formatting until you get to 'format the hard drive'. IMPORTANT: !!Dont format the hard drive yet!!
Try all the repair and formatting ...

go to the WiFi settings and make sure that it doesn't connect automatically in the settings somewhere. Sorry I cant be more helpful than that - mine's broken rofl

argh! i dont have the origional receipt (it was bought off ebay), but it is registered with a date of purchase on it.
I'll send it off and see what happens

leave it in an airing cupboard or somewhere mildly warm for a day or so and wait for it to dry out completely.

yeah, well its been at least 2 weeks since its happened and its not got any better. I charged it for ages with the green light on and it doesnt seem to be charging. Either that or it wont stop charging... :S

Well, basically, my Archos got a bit wet in my rucksack on a really wet day. After that, i didn't use it for a couple of days cos I was playing with my new phone and went to turn it on and it wouldn't. I hold in the button and nothing happens. No lights or anything. It's 6 months inside it's ...

Use fairuse wizard to rip it. That's what i do with all of my DVDs.
