I'm not sure what you mean but I think there is a 2GB size limit, so if it's larger than 2 gig lower the quality etc. Otherwise it might be your converter or whatever that missed the end.

If you want to save money, forget buying the AAC plugin and use one of the many many free movie converters - I particularly recommend PocketDivXEncoder, as it even has its own Archos option. This way you can convert your movies to virtually the same quality and playback options, but there's no need ...

Unfortunately mine has a tiny scratch on the touchscreen about 1 cm long... it is properly scratched, not just a mark... rubbing the stylus over it you can clearly feel the bump and it's a bit of a pain and a little ugly really.

Mine doesn't! Unless I'm missing something. Latest firmware and Phillips SHE8000 (i think) headphones...

Not sure, but they all come on the Archos 5 & 7 by default, so I'm assuming it's the Archos graphic designers.

RonanC : the screen resolution on the 605 and the 5/7 are both the same so the images fit perfectly. The only difference between the 605 and the 5 is about half an inches screen physical size bigger, but the images look awesome anyway on the 605 especially when coupled with ...

Posted here is a download for every single background included on the Archos 5 & 7. You can download it as a backup should you delete them from your 5 or 7, or they can be used to be put on a 605 etc. to style it (my original intention).

I have this on my 605. It IS tiny as well on the 605, which is a pain. The only way to fix it would be reprogramming it, and unfortunately that would mean resizing all the images and graphics for it as well!
