Ok, cool. I thought I needed some kinda adapter plate. But I think that my current setup would make it useless for recording. I get my tv signal via antennae and I didn't see anyway to connect the dvr to it that way.

Thats good to know is everything you need to connect a 4th gen unit included with the refurb gen5 dvr, or would I need something else? I'm considering getting a dvr unit for my 604, but I have no accessories other than usb cable and charger. Also, haven't seen what the real difference between the 5t...

My 604 was the store display model. It was stuck in demo mode and I figured out how to get it out and since I couldn't find anyone else online that figured it out, I posted instructions on my blog. http://thepoetrydude2.blogspot.com
