I have been using foobar2000 to play music from my Archos, attached as a hard drive, not via MTP (so I can scrobble my plays on last.fm). I can open with foobar playlists made on the Archos, and also save back a new or altered playlist to the Archos' Playlists folder in m3u format, which is readable...

As far as I can tell, reverting to the 1.7.06 firmware seems to have fixed the problem.

kdx, i have seen that issue too and it's different from what I'm currently experiencing. In fact, I only saw it on the last firmware (1.7.06). Using the first of the repair tools in homepage menu>settings>system>Repair & Formatting Tools fixed that. The reason you can't see the files you copied in U...

I'm seeing this too. I thought it was only files which I made using mp3directcut, but now I think that was a coincidence. This has only started occurring since I upgraded to the latest firmware (1.7.13). Could it be a firmware bug? I think I'll try goi.hng back to the previous firmware.
