I also bought this plug in, and I STILL HAVE a movie without working audio!

Not sure their code's though. DVD's watching on the device is a pretty nice feature, the only thing I really miss is the lack of DVD menu support.

is it possible to select the correct title and chapters using the original DVD menu's?
I've a bunch of StarTrek DVD's. I just want to drop them to my Archos, unfortunately I don't see how to use the real dvd menu's? Is it possible to do so?

It will make life a little bit easier

Had something similar with the Gmini. The HDD was broken.

I can not tell you your HDD is broken. Does it spend a lot of time seeking (flashing the red light a lot) with a strange sound?

If the HDD is not the problem, I don't know the issue.

No. It's not superfast. It's almost slow... sending files as mass storage device is slow (imho).

I googled it today. VPN clients do need root. That's usual on linux. I'm not 100% sure, but there is no 'official' way too get root acces on the device. I haven't had the time for testing it.
