I bought a new A5 from amazon and got it last week. RIGHT away i noticed the screen was awful. i think the movies actually look way worse than my 605. i was watching Face Off yesterday ...

i have the 160. I really have used it everyday for 2 and a half years. RELIGIOUSLY. I love my 605, but it keep pausing the movies now, and i thought it might be nice to upgrade.

I use mine solely for watching movies on the bus to and from work. I do not use the internet (as the 605's internet is pretty crappy.) Would the 5 be good for that, and that only?

So its been a while guys! I have a 605, and my movies keep mysteriously sticking. I have to do a complete shut down, and now im beyond annoyed. Is it time for me to move on? RIGHT after Noreve isnt selling in the US anymore? Anyone have any advice on the two?

In order to watch videos in that format (VOB) you need to buy the plugin. sorry.

the next time you turn on your archos theres a little symbol on the right like a directors "action" thing. click that and you will resume.

Well i got it to work! I think the TV has an issue with copyright material. Not sure...but when im in Windows mode it works. it wont even show the movies in pc mode or pc mose arc library. it did shut off though, but i was paused...so im not sure if that is why or not. so here is what it looked like ...
