Never buy Archos product

Yes, after my experience of my 604 WIFI --> 605 WIFI --> Archos 5. I am sure I will never buy Archos product again. Just waste of money. Their promise features on the website never comes true... like 3G adaptor for Archos 5........ I have enough of it

Fully Support. In deed, I have been a Archos user since 604 WIFI and I have brought 404, 604 WIFI, 605 WIFI and Gen5. I think the most disappoint one is Gen5. I lived in Hong Kong and much of the movie format use in here is DIVX or RMVB, but I can tell you that it is a nightmare if you play a RMVB ...

Sorry for the confusion. In Hong Kong, "Hong Goods" or "Official Goods" means the item disturbed by the official dealer which has warranty and usually is a little bit expensive. The 3 plugin are pre-installed and you can ask for the RMVB plugin for free.

"Water Goods" means those items imported by ...

If you brought Hong Kong Archos official goods, you can email them for the RMVB plugin for free. If you got the water goods (means not official), you will not receive it from the dealer.

To be blunt, China is known for ripping stuff off. Somebody could have broken the encryption and added an unlicensed codec.

In fact all 4 plug-ins are free in China and Hong Kong, but need to be buy the official goods. I got the first 3 plug-ins as a pre-installed in my 605 WIFI and the RMVB by email.

No. This plugin is only for China not even for Hong Kong, but I don't know why is this.

PS. Just found out in some Hong Kong forum that the dealer in Hong Kong has also start releasing the RMVB plug-in to their customer for free.
