Currently I create my playlists in Windows Media Player and edit them with a text editor like Wordpad. I can edit the playlist in a couple of minutes, so it hasn't been much of a hardship.

Try updating them one at a time.

Do you have to plug the DVR station into a wall outlet? I don't have one available at the studio.

The thing that gets me is that CDs in the stereo are too loud at max volume. Other mp3 players plugged into the stereo are fine. But not the Archos.

This law is stupid! It sucks!!! I use my players for dance class. I plug my MP3 player into a STEREO , not my headphones, and even with both volumes maxed out the students at the ends of the room can't hear the music at all!
