My friend is an embedded linux hacker and wants to try and hack it. He said that he just needs to see the chip to see if it has jtag. If someone can get a pic of their 605 wifi's chip and post it, we would be one step closer to hacking it. I would do it if i had one. I'm getting one for christmas and i just want to help people hack in any way that i can

The DaVinci TMS320DM6443/6 does have jtag, and if you download the pdf technical specs (a +200 page document) from Texas Instrument's web site it will tell you the relevant hardware pin outs and software address

I did disassemble my 605, but the DaVinci chip is under a metal shield and I didn't feel like trying to remove it at the time.
