I posted my HD quality video review at http://archosfans.com/2009/11/16/leathe ... dy-review/

You can order it at http://sensorycandy.com/archos5androidtablet.html with the 15% discount code: archosfansA5A for about $23.

It's a good quality and looks good. Is a pretty good cut and leaves openings where they should be although the Mini/Battery/HDMI Mini Docks will not fit unless Archos makes adaptors for using those on leather cases somehow. It you remove the standard DVR Station dock adaptor it can fit on it also although I don't know for sure if it would be as safe in terms of not bending or scratching the connectors as removing the Archos from the leather case and connecting it normally through the plastic adapter.

usarchos.com also reviewed it: http://www.usarchos.com/2009/11/archos- ... candy.html

umpcportal.com also reviewed it: http://www.umpcportal.com/2009/11/mini- ... t-android/

If it fits the 500 GB model, then it might be a little too thick for the 32/16 GB version?

They have two versions of the leather case, one thin for flash versions and one thicker for hard disk versions.. You can choose the one you want on the sensorycandy.com ordering page.

I see. Which version did you show in your video?

Umm if you took the time to watch the 3 minute video you would see that its the 16-32GB model case. But I recommend grabbing a case from Noreve if you are in the market for a case.

Just curious why you say that?

They have different colors AND qualities of leather to choose from.. and IMO just looks a tad bit more proper. :)

I prefer a sleek casing to go with my 32G. Any good recommendation? Most casing look bulky.

Noreve is significantly more expensive than the $23.75 of this sensory candy case isn't it?

You're right the Sensory Candy one is definitely a better price. But where are you getting the $23.75? Is that their listed $27.95 minus the 15% forum discount? If so I still paid too much. I paid $28.71 AFTER the forum discount! I do love it. Can't wait to actually put my new device in it...only 3 more days!

You paid $28.71 after the discount because of shipping charges....

$27.95US - $4.19US (coupon) = $23.76US + $4.95US (Priority Mail Shipping) = $28.71US total

Easy to think shipping is free as it's not mentioned anywhere! Anybody know shipping price to UK? Thanks

The great video from Charbax is for the Flash version.

I have a video of the 500 GB Hard Drive version if you want to compare. The HD version is of course thicker.

Just a couple of thoughts re this case. Overall I'm impressed. A nice snug fit. (Though to use the minidock I have a bit of a struggle to push the A5A out!! I guess the leather will stretch/ease a little with use)

I wanted to use my 604/605 stylus - and of course keep it in the slot provided in the case. Had to neatly saw off the last 15mm or so from the top of the stylus to make it fit.

A very very minor warning - I read in one review that the case had a couple of card slots. I kind of thought that would mean SD sized - I carry a couple of 16gb micro cards fitted into full sd adaptors - which are then in a small card holder/wallet thingie. The case has a couple of slots in the leather cover -but they are business card sized!! As i say - not a huge issue - and maybe I should have looked at reviews/videos/specs etc a bit more closely!

Thanks to Sensory Candy/Misticjeff - arrived in Uk in about 4 or 5 days - good service!!
Regards.

This case is really great. Worth the cost and then some. However, be advised that the battery dock (and other docks?) will not fit onto the device when the case is on, there is no enough clearance.

I love the 500GB tuff-luv case, but I miss a hole for the vol buttons.

Are there many other people who are considering buying this case? misticjeff is considering if he should order a new batch because the stock of his first batch he says is about to run out. But he says that there would need to be strong interest from many people for him to do it.
