Hi ,
I tried to update my Arnova 7c G2 in the following ways without any success.

1. Put the update.img to root of SD via USB, then disconnnected safely (nothing happens, shutting it down and resetting it did not help either)

2. Tried to flash it with RKAndroit in "flash mode/reset mode how ever you call it"; WinXP is asking for a Qualcomm driver with this Id: USB\VID_05C6&PID_900E\5&1383608&0&5 (can't find it anywhere)

Thanks for your help in advance.

Not sure if you mean physical SD card or the directory sdcard, but I believe the explicit instructions on the arnovatech.com support page (see them) says to put it at THE root of internal memory. The term SD brings a lot of confusion because of the ambiguous ways the directories are set up.

http://arnovatech.com/support/updates.h ... ang=en&p=2 doesn't show any official firmware release for the 7. I cannot get into arctablet to see if they have custom 7c firmware.

http://arnovatech.com/support/faq.html? ... ua&lang=en brings up a faq for 7cg2, which oddly enough does mention sdcard in the process of firmware update (unlike an10g2)

http://arnovatech.com/support/firmware. ... ang=en&g=2 tells how to install for an10g2 at the very top root level. (but maybe different for future 7c release)

Did not think there was a firmware for the 7c G2 yet. Just the 7G2
