When i press the power button, the 'ON' LED just gives a quick flash.
I plug it in and the CHG LED comes on (steady not flashing), but nothing happens at all when I press the power button.
it was low buttery yerstaday. i power off it and CHG all night but seems when power off it doesnt chg at all. today i have played with usb to comp connected then it just shut down and doesnt turn on..

Try holding in the power button for 10 seconds. That should Force Restart it.

Try charging from the wall charger supplied, not from a computer (as the G9 80 asks for more amps than most computers will supply). Do not power off, use Deep Sleep instead.

after 15 min wall charging it turned on! i think that led was blinking because archos havent enough energy to turn on. power was at 0%.
seems heavy live wallpapers eats too much energy.
charged all night, power 100%

As discussed in other threads, a g9 80 with a flat battery will only take a tiny trickle of power at first, until it has got enough to start up and ask for the full rate. as it needs a lot of current to run, you will probably find that laptops power USB hubs etc might refuse to deliver any juic - or might not deliver it fast enough (so the battery still drains if the unit is in use). Leave in deep sleep mode for quickest charging.
