I have Archos 101G9. I have an Hotmail account, this mail was configured as Exchange Active sync on the stock email client. However, it receives but can not send. I cancelled this account and tried to reconfigure it again but failed. It gives a message of can not connect to the server. When I tried to configure it as pop3 server it succeeded. Is there any solution to reconfigure it as exchange active sync since I can not see my junk mail when it is pop3.

Thanks for you in advance.

Works fine for me.

Perhaps best check the server settings they should be:
Domain\Userneame: \youremail@hotmail.com
Server: dub-m.hotmail.com
Use secure connection: Yes
Accept all SS Certs: No
Port: 443

In the page of creating a new exchange account there is no port number. I tried using the same setting as yours but still not connected.

Sorry you are right, Port is not configurable on my Archos.

Not sure what else to check. I am running the latest firmware (4.0.26). You could also try clearing all data for Email and Exchange Services and re-configure the account.(Settings-> Apps-> All-> Email-> Clear Data, and same for Exchange Services).

Dear Cozon

Thanks a lot for your support. After clearing the data of the mail it is now perfectly working.
