Hello!
I got everything working so I deleted my old thread, but now i'm having some problems.

I'm currently running this:
BQ Voltaire 2.2.1 [ got it here ]

Q1. Anyone have the original Archos 70b ROM backed up?

This is not so important but it would be nice, for my warranty :D

I went and overwrote it like an idiot, with no knowledge and no backups.

Q2. What should I use for backups [ apps / data? ]

I'm just going to write down the apps I installed so I can remember later :D

For the future a more elegant solution would be very useful, but I've only had the thing for two days, so I don't have anything important on it.

Q3. What ROM should I get?

This one looks promising:
viewtopic.php?f=82&t=59818
[ 2.2.1, based on the official Voltaire ROM ]

[ Original Spanish thread on ForoTablets.com ]
http://www.forotablets.com/showthread.p ... -VERSION-2

That looks like the way to go, right?

EDIT:
Aaand here's some info on what I did to my device

First I did this [ original Archos firmware, + market + root ]
http://www.arctablet.com/blog/archos-ta ... t-kasty21/
This failed. It would hang at the ARCHOS boot logo.

Then I did this [ BQ Voltaire firmware 2.2 + root ]
viewtopic.php?f=82&t=56987

This worked until today with the failed app install and constant crashes after that.

Thank you for your time.

-Andai-
