I'm having problems with this tool, i followed all the steps, when it asked me to force close, i pressed 'WAIT' and eventually i saw the install applications button show up, now once i pressed it, i saw that a few things installed and it asked me to reboot... but my reboot lasted 15+ minutes until the white gradient stopped moving, i was forced to wipe again.

This is a very stable update, the same program offers default Market (1.8.2) and updated version (2.2.7)
Application packages are based on gAppsInstaller.

ArcTools bug reports or enhancement requests should go on Arctablet site.

I loaded this onto my new 101 and it is there and all seems to be working okay, except that I can't get any applications to actually download from the Marketplace. It kind of defeats the purpose to be able to only see all of the cool apps that I can't get to from AppsLib. Anyone else get this to work properly? Any suggestions for how to fix my issue?

Hi - does this version of the Market solve the "missing apps" problem (i.e., displays all apps including the "protected" apps) or are some apps still missing from the Market?

Hi pire - thanks for getting back to me. i'm aware of that fix but it does not get you access to all apps , maybe someday

ArcTools was recently updated. New version is available on Archos Appslib, it brings Android 2.1 (Eclair support) and is translated in the following languages: Czech, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.

Do you have details about the error, is that a DNS issue (server not found), a webserver problem (page not found) or another issue ?
The link I gave came from a copy/paste and works without problem for me.

"The compound was reinitialized" something like that, i have a dutch browser so i just translated it.

PJ_DnB, that may be an issue with the video using flash on that page, you may try with a different web browser or disable Flash for a test.

In any case, you can find ArcTools on Archos Appslib (which is installed by default on Archos Gen8 Internet Tablets with Froyo firmware) if you want to give it a try
