UD v 1.5. When I turn the A70 on, it goes straight into the stock firmware. To get into UD, I have to hold up while turning it on, then going to "Developer Edition". Is there a way around this? As in, can I just turn the thing on regularly and have it just default to UD?

Thanks in advance!

Reboot and hold down the volume -

Recovery System -> Developer Edition Menu -> Remove Android Kernel -> I Understand
Reboot

You will only boot into Uruk until you reflash an Archos .aos file.

That's odd... for me it will always boot the previously selected option. So if i select Uruk (via vol+ on boot), it will always boot Uruk until I select stock (again via vol+ on boot).

I wouldn't think you need to remove the stock kernel.

The system will always boot to the default kernel unless you remove it. Just booting into Uruk once will not change it so that is your default.

Maybe Sauron did something with the kernel to have it boot first, but as far as I know... The only way to boot to your Developer Edition (rooted OS, Uruk, Angstrom, Ubuntu, anything else) by default is to remove your original Android (Archos) kernel.

You do not need to remove the original Android Kernel ever since Uruk 0.5

[NEW] after restart of UrukDroid it will boot once again to Uruk without need of pressing any buttons, to boot on stock OS please use boot menu

I see, as you can tell I don't keep up with Uruk. I guess he made some kernel changes that allow it to boot by default.

I don't really have any reason to hang on to the stock kernel. Ill just remove it and call it a day.

Thanks everyone!
