The media player that comes standard on the 70 is pathetic and lacks several basic features which makes no sense whatsoever as the player built into the old Archos 5 was excellent. I don't suppose it's possible to get and install one on the other?
I have over 140Gb of music on my 70, over 400 artists in 27 genres. If I can't choose what I want to listen to via Genre/Artist/Album navigation is a joke.
If what I want isn't available from Archos does anyone know of an Android App that can do the job. I've tried five so far with little to no success.

Any suggestions appreciated.

First sugestion would be to search the forum as we had that discussion allready.

In short:
Nearly no one has so many files so all the mainstream players can't handle that.
But the developer of GoneMad Player had the same problem and developed a solution.
He is active in this forum, so even if something is not working he is answering fast most oft the time.

The player works on the 5 and 7.

@ Mavasilisk. Thank you. It takes a while to properly list everything but PlayerPro works extremely well.
@ FZelle. Thanks for the suggestion but GoneMad Player didn't work very well. I tried three times. Each time it listed some of the content well and some poorly, if at all.

And you read the articles that state that in 90% it was because of "funny" namings or brocken files?
And you contacted the developer so that he could fix it?
