Hello all, I've had my Archos 70 since last year and love it. I always update the firmware when available, but I've noticed since the beginning that I can't download anything at all. If I want to read any type of document such as a pdf file I can't. It always says "Download unsuccessful" I also want to stream my Netflix movies and I see that on the Silverlight website that the streaming should work for mobile devices. When I try to download Silverlight it once again it says "Download unsuccessful". This is probably something simple that I'm missing, just wondering if anyone can help me with this. Thanks.

When it happens to me I suggest you to do the following things I do:
1. Scroll down the status bar and click the unsuccessfuly downloaded file.
2. A download screen will pop-up.
3. Hold your finger over the file you want to download and select "Retry". It always works for me.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. Let me clarify, I have no problem downloading from the appslibrary. It's only from websites. I tried what you said and I assume you mean the status bar at the top of the page that you drag down. I tried and it still didn't work. I don't even get the retry message. Here is exactly what it says, "Cannot download. The content is not supported on the device". I must be missing an application that allows you to download from websites?

Ok, if it isnt working then search the playstore or google (yes the app is free) for "Download All Files". Guess it will fix your problem. If not we will find another solution for it.

Are you using the stock browser? Try using another browser, eg dolphin.

Thanks, I will try both suggestions. I'm still using the stock browser. I've never heard of dolphin but I'll try it.

Forget about downloading Silverlight.

That is a MS Produkt that only works on Windows and MAC and through MoonLight also on Linux.
There is no Android version.
