On top screen I got a message "Internal storage damaged. You may have to reformat it".
Any ideas what might have happened? What should I do?
No bumb or fall of the tablet happened.
If needed, how do I reformat it?
My Archos is only 1,5 months old.

I turned it off and put it on again.
I had a message "checking internal storage for errors -or something like that- and now it seems
to work ok.
Does this mean I have an internal storage problem?

I get that once in a while, and only once did it cause a problem. It happens for me whan I unplug a USB connection when the device doesn't think it is ready yet. Potentially it failed to copy the last few bits of data, which can leave one or several (or many?) files corrupted.

What I do is check the last files copied to see if they work. And when dismounting a USB connection, wait longer for it to complete - it can really take a lot of seconds to complete (you did dismount or whatever the term is, didn't you?). On my mac I still get a warning about premature unplugging of USB, but if I did't do it too fast it seems to work.
