Alright... can anyone school me on the differences between the 3rd dolphin browsers?

I am currently using Dolphin Hd but just noticed its a 35 megabyte program.

The only thing I use it for is browsing.. obviouskly, but what I mean is If don't have any add one installed. The only thing I've done is custom made a few gestures.

Would I get those same abilities in a smaller package with either of the other Dolphin products?

Thanks
Jeff

In my opinion, your best bet is to try them out and see what you think for yourself.
After trying Mini, I uninstalled HD. I really liked the Speed Dial feature in place of using bookmarks.

I like mini but it wont do full screen mode, I've been using HD because I can set it to use the entire screen until I need to see my tabs or bookmarks. It is slow though and not always all that responsive :(

I've only tried HD and Mini. I ended up going with Mini. It is a great browser. Mini does do full screen, too (just click the menu button and then click Fullscreen)

Mini has a Fullscreen option visible once you press Menu. I use it 90% of the time. Is that not what you are after?

Here's the lowdown. The original version was the Dolphin browser. Works with android vs. 1.6 and up. Mini uses same render and has GUI improvements. HD uses newer renderer and works with Android 2+. Also has other GUI improvements and plug-ins.

Does Mini do gestures and plugins from HD? I use agent toggle and bookmarks to SD a good bit.

Alright...

I've been working with Dolphin HD and Dolphin Mini.

I ruled out regular Dolphin because it didn't have the nice fullscreen mode that Mini and HD have.

So far both have positives and negatives.

I like Mini because it's so much smaller in size. But the problem with Mini is the zoom defaults are either too small or too large. What I mean is when I go to a website like ESPN its either zoomed in too far or zoomed out too far. It doesn't automatically detect the optimum size of the page.

HD is basically the exact opposite. It's a huge program, but I like that it does a good job of automatically setting up the page size.

Both use gestures well and have true full screen settings. I may be being a bit not picky about the zoom on Mini... but I just really wish it would display optimally on its own.

I think for now I will stick with HD. But I'm going to keep fiddling with Mini to see if it works out.

Alright... I'm an idiot.

I thought I had cleared the user data in HD the other day... but i never did. So here i've been thinking that the program was like 30 megs, but in reality it is only like 7 megs.

With this new information, HD is my clear winner.

I cant accept Dolphin eat my RAM, its seems very hungry when you just open www.google.com.

I am using Skyfire and xScope, they have better RAM control, my concern is when you finish browsing then back to Zeam, will it need to relaunch Zeam. if yes, it means it use a lot of memory...of cuz I've check it using Advanced Task Killer..
