easy market install on eclair 1.0.70 firmware: the apk way!

Following the effort made on the Archos5it I found a way to do it again on my brand new Archos32it with the latest 1.0.70 firmware.
The goal is to make it easy to install market on an Archos device: please find below a link to an apk that does it.

All you need to do is to:
- put gApps4Archos.apk file on your Archos disk
- install it by selecting this file using the device file manager
- run the installed package and follow the installation steps

Since all new Archos internet tablets seems to be based on the same firmware I do not see why it should not work on the Archos43it.
Please report any issue on other models.

Maybe he's an Archos employee and has to be anonymous.

Good work and now people with gen 8 tablets can now sift through the Google Market to try to find something useful on there. It really needs to get updated with better searching and sorting features.

Awesome, it works great on A43, Marketplace, Maps, Gmail works great.

Google Talk looks weird, it may be a bug, it displays contact icons for the whole width..

BRICKED! I installed the package, Then ran the app asking me to install google apps. Then it asked me about saving space or something. Then it told me to reboot.

Now when the the system boots, the flashing archos logo appears then a big droid logo comes up with an emergency button on the bottom left for a second, then the screen blanks and it goes back to the flashing archos logo again, and keeps repeating this.

I don't know what I did wrong or how to fix this- please help!
