My unboxing video: http://archosfans.com/2010/09/27/my-unb ... t-tablets/

Here is my video review of the Archos 32 Internet Tablet, recorded with the Archos 43 Internet Tablet 720p 4mbit/s recording mode (maybe I should have set it at "Night Mode" which perhaps clears noise and locks it on indoor light white balance): http://archosfans.com/2010/09/27/review ... et-tablet/

Archos 43 Internet Tablet video review is up: http://archosfans.com/2010/09/28/archos ... -reviewed/

I will start posting my video reviews today. Hahaha.

Forget the A32, test the A43.

I'd like a side-by-side compare with the old 5IT, and also a 4.3" smartphone like the Evo if you have one. Tests: web browsing, A/V playback.

Also, would like to see some tests of HD video over wifi.

Lastly, test web browsing/3D games/remote access in 720p mode connected to a HDTV.

Oh yah, vidz or it didn't happen...

I would like to see side-by-side shots of the A43 and the A5IT at various angles (above, below, side/side) to compare screen quality and viewing angles.

Post real world thoughts on what most people would do daily.

How is the screen when scrolling apps/websites ... does it mess up alot, or is it pretty accurate? How is the built in speaker? How is the G-sensor ? Does it fit in your pocket pretty nicely? How is typing on it, is it a pain / select the wrong key often (for example it displays a Y instead of U) ?

Overall, is it better/worse experience then navigating/using a Itouch? This is all for the 43 of course :)

Thanks; we've already seen some mixed feedback on these key points, but more opinions would help:

How good quality is the 4.3 camera and microphone (really better than 3.2)?

How easy to magnify the screen (click zoom)?

Is the tilt sensor well adapted? (I think it's intentionally less sensitive outside of gaming to reduce unwanted rotates)

Is Engadget wrong in calling these screens "mushy" (better than visions)?

I am sure, the price is $199/199Ôé¼ for 16GB capacity.

My guess is perhaps there is a first batch of 8GB ones that will be sold first though.

The sold within days part is what I am kind of guessing, since I got such a nice package right here, my guess is that it is close to shipping. But it might be kind of October around there. October starts in 4 days. It depends if they have to wait for a boat to come with a million of them through the harbor or if they start by shipping some by cargo airplane first.

How can you be sure the price will be $199 for the 16gb if retailers like J&R have said its $250 final?

I'm working on it. Filming the 32 review with the 43 HD camcorder as well to show its quality for real (not some boring video of walls).

Too bad I don't have a bluetooth microphone to see if I could record high quality audio with that in HD camcorder mode.

if possible, can you also test the tethering features on the 43 (bluetooth or usb)

as it looks now, ad-hoc wifi prob won't work with my htc touch pro 2, so the tethering feature will help in my purchasing decision. Thanks.

tethering via BT is possible if the phone is not an androd phone

it you have froyo on the phone
transform your phone on hotpsot wifi
