I noticed the size of the Archos is very similar to the Kindle. So far this is my favorite pick. So I still need to find a stylus and a screen protector.

A case for the 7IMT should be thicker because it has a hard drive and the 7HT doesn't.

Looks nice! Way to bulky for me though.

Check out my alternative, click this: Link

Yep siddys!

Hellen Tanya (my 7HT) is a nice lady to lie down with. For those of you who don't know HW is always female and SW is always male. HW almost never cause us grief. It's the SW.

looks like a nice case, but way too bulky imo. I like the 7HT form factor because it is more portable than a 10" tablet and the case removes that convenience. But all in preference I guess.

To more options, although they might be a little bigger than needed

Cheap and basic:

With a sleeve to put the charger:

For those who are atleast in the USA. The kindle covers and cases are practically a perfect fit for the Archos 7HT.

Best Buy is a major chain in the U.S. which carries a few varieties of theses cases (hard and soft) I trialled fit them and works great for nice cases for the tablet. Some of the ones they carry that can be found on Amazon or other sites are listed below. I only mention this because it is nice to go on a road trip with your Archos 7HT and actually look/touch/feel a case to see if it really works for what you want versus an online purchase.

Kensington

Lattitude Jacket

Softsuit

The kindle cases were very sexy, but failed to provide any storage for anything, except the tablet itself.

So I actually settled on the Soft shell case by Embark Deluxe Travel Wallet below. It is kind of funny though 8-O I didnt think I would actually use a travel wallet for the purpose of a Tablet case but for my needs this works very well for me.

The wallet has several pockets that I can use to store my usb cable and SDcards, headphone ext cord etc., Also the case comes with a zipper to close it all up and a finger strap on the outside for easy carrying. A couple things I did to modify the case a bit was place a felt liner for the pocket the Tablet rests in and a velcro strap from the spine of the wallet to the inside of the pocket for the tablet to prevent accidental falls.

It is not the cleanest job (I am not a sewer) but this is very practical for me since I travel quite a bit, something robust and versatile so that everything I need is in one place is what drew me in to this case.

The price was good too! under $15

I really like all of the pockets on your case jam78ilc, but that color is god awful. This is the one that I got from Amazon. It looks nice on the outside, but there aren't any pockets or anything :(

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001NP ... ss_product

I really wish mine had pockets, so I might start looking for a replacement.

LOL.....well I wasn't in love with the color either but it actually looks a little bit better in person, plus it doesn't give the impression that something expensive is inside (important when travelling). So far it is the best I can come up with that suits me. Of course it was cheap enough that if something else comes up with a similar design I may ditch this one.

I think I found a good case, its for the Kindle 2, and has an outside pocket for the charger. Its not the nicest looking case ever, but for the time being it seems the best choice for my needs

At least you've got color choices!

Presently I found a Sony Daily reader case at Best Buy by M-Edge the Slip Sleeve for Sony Reader Daily Edition (PRS-900). I like it because it is stiff, the outside is cloth with Scotch-guard on it and the inside is microfiber, and it has an elastic strap to keep the flap down. So far so good.
