Straight to the point: i have the archos 9 (gasp!) with the 64Gb toshiba hdd, and i understand it's a pata/zif drive. Now many people have pointed out the upgrade to a pata zif ssd for faster performance, but it's still far away from a "pure" ssd.
So, i found this:http://www.amazon.com/CablesToBuy-To-Se ... 10&sr=1-11
the size should be around 74mm x 51.3mm .
Once you see it you will understand what i'm getting at. Is it possible space wise to add that adapter and THEN a normal ssd for best performance?
Or, is there a much easier solution that totally flew over my head?
Thing is at least in my current location, a pata zif (64 Gb) has pretty much the same price of a normal ssd of the same size, difference is of course performance.
Thanks in advance for the replies!
