Hey Im from southamerica this is my first post, I have my Archos 9, I was just creating my Button Panel with the cool Chessware software for tablet PC, and I already have a bunch of automated links to acces whatever I want just pressing buttons on screen, no physical buttons on Archos 9 indeed! thats because I dont like keyboards anymore

well my question goes about the "keyboard button" next to the screen, that allows change the Brightness, but I was searching on internet, and there is no any information of the Hotkey on Windows Archos to change it.

Does anybody know the Equivalent "keyboard button" for a normal Keyboard on Archos 9?

I only found that there is a lot of laptops in diferents branchs that use the Funcion Key on Keyboard, but simply the Archos 9 does not respond :(

FN + +/- buttons
FN + F4/F5/F6 buttons

I need that Brightness hotkey on Archos 9 to create a Button on Screen, please any help

Keyboard button is equivalent of Alt+ScrollLock. But if you think that you can put some keycodes to input queue and adjust brightness - you are wrong. Brightness control is implemented in BIOS as I know and Windows gets Alt+ScrollLock only when you release this button. Use LBB instead to adjust brightness (but I'm not sure it will work on Win7, look in MSDN and Intel site).

LBB is a Legacy Backlight Brightness, it's a PCI configuration register. But I don't know if it will work under Win7 drivers.
MSDN is for Microsoft Developers Network, it's a main site for developers for Windows to get information about API.
