Hello community!

I do have a question. Does anybody know if the RAM is soldered via BGA just like the CPU? I wanted to switch the CPU to a Z530 but the Reflow-soldering is too difficult and expensive for me :D Now I want to upgrade the RAM with a 2 GB module and need to know which technique is used.
Which of the following chips is the RAM? ... SOV7900%27 (int photo)

Sorry for my bad English

Thanks in advance!

Not going to work. I tried the same thing with the G8 models, but they used a PoP build which makes it impossible to do by hand. The soldering is too small to be done by hand, as each of the ball-soldering joints are smaller than .5mm in diameter.
