Hi all,

I've wanted to get an Archos 9 for a while now, was just about to pull the trigger, but I saw that 2go was putting out something around the same price.

I need something that can;
Run Media Center and stream TV/Video (I have my DVD/Bluray (wtv) and Music (wma/mp3) collection on a central server).
Run Zune to sync with my devices and subscriptions.
Handwriting, I draw/brainstorm a lot for home and work.
Office Suite and VPN support (yep, work stuff)
Multiple OS (because I'm a geek).

ThatÔÇÖs pretty much it. Multi-touch is not that important to me, I would take accurate handwriting over pinch and zoom.
Someone give me some advice, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

Yo DawgTool,

Welcome to our forum!

The A9 is a proven platform the 2go is not. The 2go has better specs. The 2go pre-order is $500 from CTL, then $600. Doesn't ship until 15 Oct. The 2go comes with Win7 Home Premium. Add the upgrade cost to the A9 for Win7 HP and the prices get closer. Last but not least the 2go comes with the 1.6Ghz Intel Atom 450. The A9 maxes out at 1.2Ghz.

At $385 from Amazon the A9 is a steal. At $500 pre-order, so is the 2go.

I only hope that Archos upgrades the A9 :D
