What specific software or drivers do I need to be able to "write" on a document on the 9? I thought that I read it somewhere on here, but I cannot seem to find it. Thanks for the help.

if you upgrade to Windows 7 home premium+ you can use the windows keyboard with handwriting recognition which will convert your handwriting to digitized text, but that's all I'm aware of. Out of the box the Archos can't do handwriting recognition...again from what I understand.

The A9 should come upgraded with something more than basic starter edition WIN7 in my opinion. This is why I switched to XP all because the 9 had starter. It's like buying a Corvette with a 6 cylinder engine and the company saying if you want the full ability of the car you need to pay for the upgrade?

Why not release the product the right way so ARCHOS customers can see the tablets full abilities from the get go!

Anyone tryed the 'two thumbs' touch it virtual keyboard layout?
I've downloaded it from the touch it website (and found more some layouts in a program folder), but besides the small blue virtual keyboard for win log on and the standard big black archos virtual keyboard, I couldn't change it.
The idea is using a different virtual keyboard layout which will allow better screen visibility, since the standard one covers half of the screen...
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Claudio

Do you mean handwriting to text?
