This week arrive my brand new ARCHOS9 which I buy on ebay, Immediatly I turn it on, it takes about 7 minutes with only a blinking dash on screen (is this normal?), after that a the windows configuration starts, it take me about an hour an a half to complete this process including a restar that takes about 40 minutes. Finaly I see the windows desktop, im impressed how slow it works, Iexplorer takes 5 min to start, "Paint" takes almost the same, after a while the system get stuck so I have to focre turn off holding the on key. I try to restart several times but the only thing I see is the blinking dash, Ican't reset it cause even the "Security Center" bule screen never apear. Now it displays, after 10 secs of blinking dash, "Loading..." it lasts 2 or 3 minutes an then: "Init HiddenPart Error! Press eny key to continue..._"
The HDD sonuds like rr...rrr....rr....rr.....rr. about two times per second, not like the normal .rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr like little fast drums of every HDD.
I try starting from USB boot and nothing, I try a Win7iso mounted on USB: apear "windows loading" and then a black screen, nothing more.
Is anything I can do before send it back to the seller in Canada? Im in Mexico city.
Any Ideas? Thank you very much for your help!
