Mon Dec 28, 2009 7:23 pm CPU overload...
Hey guys and girls,
i have problems with the CPU performence... if i use acast for example i can hear podcasts.. if i now downloading new ones and hear music for the same time the program collaps or the music jumps...
or if i have my widgets on like twitter, rss feeds, wheather and so on then i can not hear music without jumps...
that is terrible, what can i do? have archos something to do? there are a task manager that can display the load for the processes?
thanks nauen

You just need to install taskiller from the appslib. Then you can kill all of the tasks you don't need. You'll notice about 20-30 programs running in the background that don't need to be there.

So you just want to kill the apps which use the most cpu power?

i have found the problem. this is not the cpu power so the flash speed...
with the program top i can see that. if i run a program the load go up and have a high load on I/O so the flash is not fast enough.
also the memory space is a problem i have only some MB free...
i remove no button widgets and something like that to have more RAM free but it is not easy...
